The world scenario is both complex and complicated. The first half of the year had leaders delve into coping in the interim period till we ‘returned to normal’ but the latter half of the year is seeing leaders accept that we need to not only cope but also lead through the ‘new normal’. This has necessitated the need to accept that the world ahead will be deliberately disruptive to cope with the rapid pace of change. Old skills, jobs and markets will continue to become outdated and new skills, jobs and markets will continue to emerge. To keep pace with this movement, one needs to develop a different style of handling self, handling people & teams and handling business.
